Finger Lakes Workforce New York (FLWNY) offers Local Businesses On-the-Job Training (OJT). You Hire or Promote, You Train, They Pay.

What is an OJT?

• Hands on training that you design - FLWNY can help
• A reimbursement to offset training costs
• An opportunity to train employees your way
• An investment in your company

Who can I hire?

• Applicants who are pre-qualified by our office and referred to you
OR
• Applicants you send to us for eligibility screening. FLWNY will notify you if they qualify

How does it work?

• FLWNY match qualified applicants with approved job openings
• FLWNY design a training plan that meets your needs
• You get reimbursed for the some of the costs of training during the OJT period (50% up to a $4,000 cap for some workers; up to 90% for others)
